DON'T LIKE WHAT HOLLYWOOD IS SELLING? DON'T BUY
December 9, 2004
There is a billboard near my home which reads, 'We're changing the way you think.' This bold statement is for Viacom, one of the nation's largest network providers and facilitators of trash tv, i.e., MTV, VH1, Showtime, UPN, Spike, NBC etc. Television is the "great programmer" because too many people are easily manipulated by what they see on that box and buy the message. The same can be said about a movie theater full of people watching particularly powerful images. Mind subversion is easily accomplished through that medium with the presentation of false and misleading information dressed up as "powerful entertainment."
Programs such as Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly routinely have guests on from family oriented organizations complaining about the filth and trash being pumped out of Hollywood into America's living rooms via the television set or the latest offering at the movie theater. There used to be decency laws regarding what could and could not be broadcast into America's living rooms. However, the propagators of world communist domination have been busy working behind the scenes and have managed to implement many of their goals in destroying America's moral foundation by "changing the way you think." No? Below are just a few communist goals as listed in the Congressional Record, January 10, 1963, pp. A34-A35:
- Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
- Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and television.
- Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural and healthy."
The change from wholesome television shows to social engineering programs like 'Friends' has taken a few decades, but that's how the communitarian elites have been capturing America and 'changing the way they think' - incrementally. People often ask me if I watch television. Sure, once in a while I will watch CSI or Law and Order when I'm too tired to work. I've never watched one minute of a "reality" show because just watching the commercial promos, I can't imagine wasting what time I have on this earth watching such dysfunctional garbage and emotionally challenged exhibitionists.
The same goes for the glorification of booby peep shows like 'Desperate Housewives.' A few weeks ago, 26 million people tuned into to that bilge which makes sport of adultery and family just to see how much skin might be shown. I've never watched Johnny Carson, Letterman, Leno, a single sitcom, popular shows like ER or weekly news magazines. I will watch our local news while cooking dinner. I do monitor programs like Hannity & Colmes, O'Reilly, CNN and other cable networks to see what kind of propaganda about "our democracy" they're spewing for the day. Forget Brokaw, Rather, Jennings or their replacements. Trusted names? There's a hoot! I stay away from that kind of "programming."
Hollywood makes very little from me because I don't like what they have to offer, so I don't watch or buy. I grew up on 'clean' television and movies like Ben Hur, The Sand Pebbles, John Wayne and the entire western genre. Classics like Gone with the Wind, Hitchcock's films and Casablanca were what made Hollywood great. These are films where the actors and actresses had to actually act instead of just stripping and feel each other up sessions. People ask me if I go to the movies. I did last month when my daughter was home visiting. We saw National Treasure, a mild action flick. Four years ago my daughter and I went to see Proof of Life while she was visiting. Prior to that, my husband and I went to the show to see Wag the Dog in 1999. In five years, I've gone to a movie theater three times. Once a month, I might rent a magnificent movie like Open Range, the western genre of Braveheart, but they're far and few in between, so I simply occupy my time doing other things.
I have been boycotting Disney for 12 years. Not only do they own one of the biggest porn channels in the world, they promote sodomy and knowingly hire pedophiles at their Orlando Disneyworld. My neices and nephews get nothing from me that puts a penny in Disney's corporate coffers.
For the past twenty years, Hollywood has continued to "push the envelope" in producing television programs like 'Friends' and 'Will and Grace' which promotes sodomy as normal, natural and healthy. They continue to put out propaganda like 'Alexander' which depicts Collin Farrell kissing a man and more ho-hum nudity by a large breasted woman. They don't get my money nor did they get my money for revisionist trash like The Alamo, which was a huge box office flop. The original version with John Wayne and Richard Widmark is historically correct. Recently, Hollywood came out with a movie on Alfred Kinsey, a monster of epic proportions who should be soundly condemned for his perverted scientific findings and criminal behavior in turning loose pedophiles to experiment on children - not glorified by Hollywood. That one is also turning out to be a huge box office flop.
I don't subscribe to any "premium" channels, i.e. HBO, Showtime. These channels promote promiscuity, movies full of nudity, portrayl of adultery as an acceptable past time and other destructive behavior. HBO doesn't care if you block out one program a month or twenty, they only care about getting your money every month. By subscribing to these channels you're telling HBO that you approve of and condone the type of "entertainment" they broadcast 24/7 regardless of content.
I don't feel deprived, depressed or denied because I don't fill my head with the mindless garbage coming out of Hollywood. We only have so much time on this earth and I choose not to spend mine sitting in front of a medium that is out to "change the way I think." I can think for myself, thank you. In my humble opinion, the great programmer has made Americans intellectually lazy and keeps them distracted from what's being done to destroy this Republic. There will be those who disagree with me, but one only need look back a couple decades from then to now to see how dysfunctional our society has become. There can be no denying the boob tube has played a huge roll in changing the way people think and act.
I don't need to be entertained, just as I don't need to medicate myself or load up on booze every night because I can't handle the harsh realities of life and what's going on in this world. Yes, I do like a good movie, but I refuse to be a consumer of propaganda. I refuse to put money into the coffers of mega corporations and networks who promote immorality, the homosexual agenda, destroying Christiantity in America and revisionist history. I don't need their products, but they need my money - which they're not getting.
I am fully aware that a lot of jobs are dependent upon the expenditure of our dollars for the entertainment industry. But, Hollywood received lots of American dollars when they produced quality products before they went to nothing but violence and gratutitous sex in every movie. Hollywood tracks what sells and if people stop buying at the threater or through DVD rentals, they will get the message. After all, no one is being forced to turn on the boob tube or go to the movie theater. We have far more important issues to deal with that are being forced upon us by the ciminal syndicate out in Washington, DC.
The bottom line is that if you don't like what Hollywood is selling, either on the tube or movie offerings, don't watch and don't buy. Downtrends in movie receipts are usually blamed on the economy. I submit to you that Hollywood corporate heads aren't taking into account consumers like me who simply don't go to the show because we don't want their products. Nor will I waste my time watching 'sitcoms' or other programs that are nothing but social engineering. And, if people want to really do something constructive "for the children," kill the tv set and buy them a good book.
